Cardiovascular Consultants (CVC) is the largest and most comprehensive Cardiovascular Group in our 6-county region, a full-service cardiology group specializing in electrophysiology (EP), interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac surgery clearance and clinical cardiology.
We provide consultations, treat medical aspects of heart disease and heart rhythm issues, and perform diagnostic cardiac tests and procedures, with specialties including clinical cardiology (the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease), interventional cardiology (treatment of blockages in the blood vessels of the heart by performing angioplasty and placing stents to help keep the blood vessel open), structural heart disease, electrophysiology (EP, the specialization in the electrical system of the heart including the diagnosis and treatment of heart-rhythm abnormalities), cardiac surgery clearance and nuclear cardiology.
All 18 Cardiovascular Consultants physicians are Board Certified in Cardiology, while our specialist medical staff also consists of 8 advanced practice providers. Our main office is located in Aultman Hospital, with satellite offices in Alliance, Carrollton, Dover, Massillon, Millersburg, North Canton, Orrville and Salem, along with telehealth Cardiology appointments for non-emergent medical conditions for established patients of the practice.
Cardiovascular Consultants offers specialized care for Congestive Heart Failure patients, collaborating with other specialists to offer a multidisciplinary approach to its treatment.
Assessments for Structural Heart Disease identifies opportunities for minimally invasive procedures for patients who are not candidates for open heart surgery such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) for severe aortic stenosis; Left Atrial Appendage Closure/WATCHMAN for atrial fibrillation (AFib) patients who are not suitable for long term anticoagulation and are at high risk for a cerebrovascular accident; Mitral Clip for Severe Mitral Regurgitation; Patent Foramen Ovale and Atrial Septal Defect closure; as well as Mitral Valvuloplasty for Severe Mitral Valve Stenosis.
