A Primary Care Practice offering comprehensive, patient-centered health care for the individual and family that treats the whole person through all stages of life.
Waynesburg Family Medicine is a Primary Care Practice that has adopted the Patient-Centered Medical Home (P.C.M.H.) model to transform and improve our practice by promoting partnerships between patients and their primary care providers that help improve the quality of care, reduce complexity and make it easier for patients to navigate.
The P.C.M.H. at Waynesburg Family Medicine creates a medical team who will provide for all of a patient's health care needs and will coordinate treatments across the health care system. Medical home providers demonstrate the benchmarks of patient-centered care by implementing open scheduling, extended clinical hours, and an effective use of current and expanded health information systems.
Some of our most common conditions include diabetes, hypertension, elevated cholesterol and chronic conditions, while the most common services include wellness and sports physicals, skin tag/mole removal, Pap smears, prostate exams and other procedures performed in-office such as cryotherapy, suture removal, rapid strep throat and influenza testing, urinalysis, protimes and a lab draw service.
All 3 of the Aultman Medical Group – Waynesburg Family Medicine physicians are Board Certified. We also have a certified nurse practitioner (A.P.R.N.-C.N.P.), a combination of 2 certified medical assistants (C.M.A.) or registered medical assistants (R.M.A.), a Registered Nurse (R.N.) and Registered Nurse (R.N.)-Care Coordinator, as well as 4 support staff members. The physicians who work in this practice also work with the Residency program at Aultman Hospital.
The Waynesburg Family Medicine patient-centered model will benefit the people of southern Stark County with more than 30 year of combined experience – for better care, increased satisfaction and the knowledge that you will receive the right care, in the right place at the right time.
