Comprehensive, patient-centered health care for the individual and family that treats the whole person through all stages of life.
Dunlap Family Physicians has adopted a patient-centered model to transform and improve our practice by promoting partnerships between patients and their primary care providers that help improve the quality of family medicine care and primary care for all ages, while reducing complexity and making it easier for patients to navigate.
The model creates a medical team who will provide for all of a patient's health care needs and will coordinate treatments across the health care system and any necessary specialists. Medical home providers demonstrate the benchmarks of patient-centered care by implementing open scheduling, extended clinical hours, and an effective use of current and expanded health information systems.
All 3 locations are Certified Rural Health Clinics, while Dunlap Family Physicians patient-centered model benefits the people of Wayne County with better care, increased satisfaction and the knowledge that you will receive the right care, in the right place at the right time. Main services include newborn and pediatric medicine; ongoing care for children and adults; women's health care; care for acute illness and injuries; preventive care including complete physical exams; physicals for sports, work, school and college; dermatological care including rashes, acne, and removal of moles, skin tags and abnormal skin lesions; and in-house laboratory drawn services in-office.
